Get ready for an overview on the history of Rock and Roll music, focusing on the genre’s earliest years of existence. This lesson explores how and why rock and roll music was created beginning with the styles of music that influenced and laid the groundwork for the birth of rock and roll. Then you’ll take a listen and learn about a few of the main instruments used in early rock and roll. We finish up with an introduction to a few rock and roll artists from the 1950’s and the 1960’s.
